The People Behind Polymath

Polymath wasn't dreamed up in a boardroom. It was born out of the same frustrations every owner knows too well.

For years, I sat in meetings where my accountant, my attorney, and my tax CPA never spoke to each other. The irony? I was solving those exact problems for my clients, but I couldn't solve them for myself, because the system wasn't built to work together. That frustration became the spark. In 2018, I started Polymath to build the kind of integrated team owners actually need.

Two years later, I fired a law firm that racked up hours but couldn't move an operating agreement forward - one I needed to complete an acquisition. That's when I met Kiel Green, who had just started his own practice. We began working separately, me building Polymath, him building his law firm, but it quickly became clear: our clients needed both, working as one.

What started as two entrepreneurs pushing back against broken models became the firm we wished we'd had as owners ourselves.

Polymath Partners isn't another professional-services firm. It's the alternative:

  • Legal strategy built into every product.
  • Accountants, attorneys, and advisors actually working together.
  • A focus on the owner - not just the business.
  • A model where the old rules don't apply.

We didn't set out to fit into the industry. We set out to replace it with a firm built entirely for owners -James Barchiesi
